International March for Peace – “Transmets la Paix” (Transmit Peace): This annual march for peace brings together between 800 and 1000 people every year. The march starts at a historic site and ends in Sainte-Mère-Église after about 20 kilometres. This year is extra special because of the 80th anniversary of the Landing and the passage of the Olympic flame.
Three starting points: 1) Utah Beach, 2) Sainte Marie du Mont, 3) Turqueville, where many children are expected for the final leg.
